Symbian.org WRT Widget is a Web Runtime application that allows read access to Symbian Foundation Forums, Blog and Wiki.

Installation

1. Get the widget from File:Symbian.org.wgz
2. Upload the Symbian.org.wgz file to your phone (e.g. by sending over Bluetooth)
3. Open the .wgz file by clicking or tapping, and proceed with installation
4. After installation, the application icon can be found in the "Applications" or "Installations" folder depending on phone model

If you are interested in viewing the Symbian.org widget source code, the code is available in the installation package. Just change file extension to zip and unzip the file.

If you are interested in contributing fixes to the widget, the mercurial repository can be found here.

All code written specifically for this widget is in the public domain - no license is required for any use. However, a number of files in the package have their own license (e.g. WRTKit). Please refer to license text in source files for details.

Support

Supported phones

The Symbian.org widget is in beta, but should work on:

1. All Series 60 3rd Edition FP2 and later phones
2. Samsung Series 60 3rd Edition FP1
3. Nokia Series 60 3rd Edition FP1 phones with latest firmware update
