Metrics snapshots for Symbian^3: (Defect-related: 28th Nov 09, Code-related: PDK 3.0.c).

Scope of defect-related metrics is for bugs identified with PDK_3.* only, unless otherwise stated.

Figures are for all packages, unless stated otherwise.

The metrics shown here are defined in the Metric Definitions page.

Weekly Defect Inflow & Outflow

Inflow is number of bugs created or becoming Open (i.e. leaving RESOLVED/VERIFIED/CLOSED) or enhancements changing to bugs.
Outflow is number of bugs becoming not Open (i.e. leaving NEW/ASSIGNED/PROPOSED) or changing to enhancements.

Open Defects

 

Open Defects is all bugs (i.e. not enhancements or features) in an open status, (i.e. NEW, ASSIGNED, PROPOSED).

Median Age of Defects

Figures evaluated for 6 months June to November inclusive

 


Figures for packages exclude packages in Kits & Unclassified classifications, but are across all versions for included packages.

Code Size and Code Churn

File types included are "*.cpp", "*.c", "*.cxx", "*.h", "*.hrh", "*.hpp", "*.inl"

N.B. The following packages have been deprecated in Symbian^3. Their size figures are taken as zero.
