Persistent Data Services Package
Persistent Data Services is an OS layer package that provides the standard frameworks and libraries for handling persistent data storage.
The package includes the following collections:
- The Persistent Storage collection provides a set of components for structured data storage and data streams. It includes the Central Repository, DBMS, SQL and Store components.
- The Logging Services collection provides functionality to record events of interest to the end user, such as telephone calls and sent and received SMS messages.
- The Feature Management collection provides the ability for applications to modify their run time behaviour based on the presence or absence of hardware and software features.
- The Trace Services collection provides a device-side framework for instrumentation of software components for analysis and debugging by the PC-side tools.
