Default Content ID purchase problems - 15th March 2010

We are currently experiencing some problems with Content ID purchase.

In some cases, when you make your PayPal payment, the content IDs won't appear in your account. This is because of a problem with the payment verification messages from PayPal not making it through to our server.

If this happens to you, you must contact us to have the transaction manually verified.

Please send an email to symbiansigned@symbian.org with the five digit Invoice ID of your transaction so that we can quickly find and verify your transaction.


If you do not send the Invoice ID we will have to take time to trace your transaction and there will be a delay in adding the content IDs to your account. In particular, if you send the Transaction ID there will be a delay in fixing the problem for you, as we have more work to do our side to find your transaction on our system.

If you raise a PayPal dispute for this problem, then we will have to wait until the result of the PayPal dispute is known before we can add the Content IDs to your account, which may take up to 7 days.
